Business Development Manager

About the position

  • During an intense introduction period you will gain insight into the very diverse solutions of Faros regarding digitization projects, its customers, its target markets and their business needs.
  • You will soon be given the responsibility to commercially follow up prospects at management level, from the application to the concrete proposals that you develop together with our senior consultants or management team.
  • The initiation and follow-up of the commercial process up to and including the actual completion and conclusion of a cooperation contract with the customer, as well as maintaining the relationship, remains your responsibility.
  • You take initiatives to become better known to the target groups and in this way you know how to generate new leads with which you can get started. With this lead generation you will be supported by our management team.
  • You know how to grow your customer relationship in order to call in the specific expertise of the specialists at the right time and work out the right solution.
  • Our target groups are situated in the financial and insurance world, the service sector, pharmaceutical sector, chemical sector and this in the Flemish and Brussels regions.
  • Being able and willing to help build a growth story in a rapidly evolving market for both customers and service providers.
  • You work very closely together with the sales & marketing manager and our managing partner.

Your profile

You

  • are a strong commercial profile, preferably with a two-three years of proven sales experience in a B2B (/ IT) world.
  • Without necessarily being an IT specialist yourself, you have a strong interest in and feel for the ever faster evolving IT trends and techniques such as Application Development, Consulting Services, Java, AI, IoT, Industry 4.0 etc. and you know the easily identify the benefits.
  • Faros is looking for someone with a strong hands on mentality. You have the ability to think and communicate with your customers in a professional manner.
  • You have a very analytical mind that allows you to quickly understand what information is essential for the customer to optimize their business processes.
  • You are fluent in bilingual Dutch / French or (preferably) French / Dutch, with an excellent knowledge of English.
  • Preferably you live in Flemish Region, Walloon Brabant or Brussels
